i couldn’t wait any longer to share this amazing day. family and friends – if you want any copies of photos let us know!
we could not have asked for a more wonderful weekend. all of the photos were done by Rachel Clarke who is a now forever friend. she has taken family portraits for us in the past and having her shoot our wedding was a dream come true.
our goal was good hospitality and love and we were able to throw one hell of a party for our friends and family who traveled from all over the world. this was possible only to our friends, family, and our vendors. i hope this spotlights them in the light and love they all deserve.
we stayed in The Maven, a new hotel in Denver’s Dairy Block. everything from their food service to their sweet cleaning staff helped make our weekend seamless. i cannot wait to stay there again.
our florals were one of my favorite pieces of the day, done by Flora by Nora. Nora is a wildly talented floral designer who can take any vision and make it better than you imagined. she’s AMAZING.
invite suite by Morgan Parsons Creative who was so patient with me and all of my edit requests. we worked remotely as she is based in Ohio. her branding work is to die for! makes me want to start a business just to work with her again.
videography by David Mathew Fiser who has also become a wonderful friend who we hope to see again soon.
venue Grant-Humphreys Mansion — a historical home in the heart of downtown Denver. i wish i could live in this house. the architecture and finishes everywhere are manifestations of daydreams.
FOOD. catering was one of our top priorities. the presentation was last on our list of things to worry about, with taste and quality taking priority. Relish Catering and Backyard Bakery knocked it out of the park with a station style dinner, cutting cake and bites — i cannot recommend them enough.
we searched far and wide for a band we would want to dance to. as a now wife of a phish fan, i delegated this to brendan and had to trust there would be no 8+ minute jams. he found the perfect band, Alive on Arrival, a New Orleans funk band. everyone loved them and they had us dancing the entire night.
we hope you enjoy these photos even a fraction of how much we enjoyed our day. we only wish parties with family and friends could happen all the time.
